Opioid Treatment for Travellers: possible

Medically assisted opioid treatment is provided in large cities. In case patients need continued dosing in Morocco we advise their home prescribing doctors to contact a suitable clinic.

Importation of Methadone and Other Opioids: possible

Travellers (not their prescribing GPs/clinics) must apply for an import licence from the Ministry of Health of Morocco (see contact details below).
They must submit by email/fax a doctor’s certificate endorsed by the competent city/area public health department of the country of residence.
