Methadone Treatment: not available for foreign patients

Importation of Methadone: possible

It is allowed to bring into Mali a supply of methadone for personal use as medication sufficient for up to two weeks. Although it is not a legal requirement, travellers are
strongly advised to carry with them a certificate from their methadone prescriber which clearly supports their need for the medication. Also, the patients’ personal data, the name, form, strength and dosage of the medication, and the dates of arrival in and departure from Mali should be given.
