Importation of Methadone/Buprenorphine/Morphine: possible

Residents from one of the EU signatory countries of the Schengen Implementing Convention, Article 75 are expected to have with them a “Certification to carry drugs and/or psychotropic substances for treatment purposes – Schengen Implementing Convention, Article 75” form, the so-called “Schengen form/certificate” when bringing methadone or other medically prescribed opioids into Luxembourg for personal use. It is allowed to bring in a supply of 30 daily doses. Travellers from other countries must carry with them a certificate from their home prescriber confirmed by the local health department of the travellers’ home town. More info in French HERE.
