St Kitts and Nevis

Regarding St Kitts and Nevis we received the following information:

a) The minimum requirement would be a letter from the doctor in charge of treatment at the patient’s place of residence, giving full name and address, the date of travel,
arrival and departure and details of daily dosages.

b) Patients needing treatment in St Kitts and Nevis would have to be supervised by a psychiatrist in the country.

c) Methadone is a narcotic and is subject to full scale international regulations for importation. Methadone is not exported from St Kitts and Nevis.

d) At present, there are very few patients on methadone in St Kitts and Nevis. If there is the need to cope with increasing numbers, the government of St Kitts and Nevis would prefer to be responsible for importing and keeping methadone.
