Methadone/Buprenorphine Treatment: available

Importation of Methadone and Other Opioids: possible

It is allowed to bring into Indonesia a maximum quantity of 30 daily doses of methadone/buprenorphine or other opioids for personal use. Travellers must carry with them a doctor’s letter written in English and a copy of the original prescription (stamped and signed by the pharmacy). The doctor’s letter must be confirmed by the appropriate local (town/city/county) health department in the patient’s home country.
