Travellers wishing to bring methadone, morphine, buprenorphine or codeine into the Dominican Republic for personal use as medication must carry with them a certificate from their prescribing physician detailing the patients’ personal data, total quantity of the medication, daily dosage, and stating the dates of arrival in and departure from the Dominican Republic.
