Importation of Methadone, Buprenorphine or Morphine: possible

It is allowed to bring into Turkey 15 daily doses of methadone, buprenorphine or morphine for personal use, provided travellers carry with them a letter from their prescribing GP or clinic. Apart from the usual personal and medical information given in such letters, the dates of travel (arrival and departure) and the number of the passport must be provided.
