Opioid Substitution Treatments: available

Foreign patients will be accepted for temporary treatment while staying in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, we currently have no contact details of prescribing services/GPs.

Importation of opioids: possible

Travellers are allowed to bring supplies sufficient for up to 30 days. They must carry with them a letter from their prescribing clinic or GP endorsed by the health authorities of the country of residence (local health authority). Residents from one of the signatory countries of the Schengen Implementing Convention, Article 75 must have with them a “Certification to carry drugs and/or psychotropic substances for treatment purposes – Schengen Implementing Convention, Article 75″ form.
