To us this information sheet, provided by the Ministry of Health, remains somewhat woolly since it is not quite clear, if travellers are allowed to keep their medication while staying in Oman or not (please carefully read the first passage). Therefore, we strongly advise opioid patients to contact an embassy or consulate of Oman well in advance of a planned journey to clarify things and to avoid any nasty surprises when entering the country. Experience reports welcome!
