Importation of Methadone and other Opioid Substances: possible

Any person entering or departing from Namibia may be in possession of a Schedule 5, 7 or 9 substance (e.g. methadone is a Schedule 7 substance), which shall not exceed a  reasonable quantity required for use for a period of not more than one month, provided that such person is in possession of a certificate issued by a patient’s home prescriber confirmed by the relevant health authority of the country of residence.
