Foreign travellers will be accepted for temporary dosing/treatment. Unfortunately, we do not have any up-to-date contact details of treatment facilities. We would greatly appreciate any assistance with this matter!
Importation of Methadone and Other Opioids: possible
Travellers are permitted to bring into Iceland a quantity of 30 daily doses. Schengen citizens (Schengen signatory countries) must carry a Schengen form, non-Schengen citizens must carry a doctor’s letter endorsed by the competent health authorities of the country of residence (specimen). Also, a valid medical prescription is necessary (photocopy). At entry the medication must be declared at customs.
