There are no laid down import regulations for methadone. However, we strongly advise travellers bringing methadone to the Cook Islands for personal use as medication to
carry with them a letter from their home prescriber detailing the patient’s personal data, the total quantity of methadone, and thedates of arrival and departure. Also, we would recommend getting in touch with Dr. Taurarii to receive further information.
