Methadone Treatment: available

Methadone treatment is available at the State Psychiatric Hospital for Alcoholism and Drug Addiction in Sofia. Foreign methadone patients can receive treatment for up to one month. Treatment fees vary depending on dosage and possible checkups. Currently we can only give a phone number: ++359 2 931 6109 (extension 104 or call Methadone Program).

Importation of Methadone, Buprenorphine, Codeine: possible

It is possible to bring methadone and other opioid substances into Bulgaria for personal use as medication. The maximum daily dosage of racemic methadone must not exceed 170mg.
